Terms and Conditions for Label Submissions to AUF Records

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the submission of music ("Submission(s)") to AUF Records ("Label"). By submitting your music, you ("Submitter" or "Artist") agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before submitting.

1. Ownership and Rights

1.1 You affirm that you are the legal owner of the Submission(s) and hold all rights to the music, including any samples used within the track, unless otherwise specified.

1.2 You acknowledge that by submitting, you grant the Label permission to evaluate and review your Submission(s) and agree that no payment or compensation is required for this evaluation.

2. Non-Exclusive Submission

2.1 This Submission is provided to the Label on a non-exclusive basis unless otherwise specified by the Artist. You may submit your work to other labels, but you agree to notify the Label promptly if the Submission is accepted by another entity.

3. Use of Submission

3.1 The Label will not publicly distribute, publish, or share any Submission(s) without the Artist's explicit written consent.

3.2 Should the Label express interest in releasing the Submission(s), you and the Label may negotiate and sign a separate licensing or release agreement. Nothing in these Terms obligates the Label to offer any release, promotion, or distribution of the Submission(s).

4. Confidentiality

4.1 All Submissions will be treated with confidentiality. The Label will not disclose or share the Submission(s) with third parties without the Artist's permission.

5. Acknowledgment and Waiver

5.1 You acknowledge that the Label receives numerous Submissions and may be developing material similar to or competitive with your Submission(s). You waive any claims against the Label relating to such material and agree that the Label is free to use any material it independently develops without obligation to you.

6. No Guarantee

6.1 Submission of your music does not guarantee acceptance, signing, or release through the Label. All decisions regarding selection are made solely by the Label and are final.

7. Indemnification

7.1 You agree to indemnify and hold the Label, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, including any misrepresentation regarding ownership or rights.

8. Governing Law

8.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of California, and any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of San Diego County, California.

9. Entire Agreement

9.1 These Terms represent the entire agreement between the Label and the Artist with respect to Submissions and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.

10. Amendments

10.1 The Label reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted, and continued submission of music constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

By submitting your music, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
