bawab’s sound is all about flow—blurring the lines between mid-tempo house, deep house, and downtempo, but never bound by them. His music reflects his mood in the moment, weaving organic textures, hypnotic grooves, and intricate rhythms into something that feels both deep and effortless. Born and raised in Ventura, CA, with Palestinian and Jordanian roots, his sound carries a global influence. In 2024, he’s played at spots like Kater Blau (Berlin), Château Perché (France), and Same Same But Different (US), to name a few. With Motif, an LA-based event series/collective created with his dear friends, and label Tessera set to launch in 2025. bawab is building spaces for connection, good energy, and unforgettable nights—whether it be open airs or intimate warehouse spaces in DTLA.
